Introduction

Flotation column is a new-type flotation machine on the principle of:

• Abundant, even and small size bubble
• Large bubble specific surfacearea.
• Long flotation trip and sufficient reaction.

After 30 years research and development, our Micro-bubble Counter-current Flotation Column (MCFC) is widely used for processing of nonferrous, ferrous and nonmetallic minerals due to its below strengths:

• Thick bubble layer contribute to a higher concentrate grade;
• Effectively collect fine particle material, lead to a high recovery rate;
• High enrichment efficiency, can shorter flotation process ;
• No mechanical agitating and mixing which can save at least 30% power energy;
• Smaller area and lower construction cost;
• Easy and cheap maintenance, can replace spares without downtime;
• Stable and highly automatic operation.

Structure

This Micro-bubble Counter-current Flotation Column mainly consist of feeding unit, tailing discharge unit, column body, air supply system, micro bubble generator, bubble scrubber, industrial automatic control system, and etc.

Flotation column specification and technical performance

Feeding system

Feeding system consists of buffer tank and slurry distributor, which can ensure the feed distributing evenly and mineralizing adequately. The slurry distribution is specially researched and manufactured as per flotation column feature by our company, it has intellectual property rights.

Air supply system

Air supply system is composed of air compressor, pressure stabilizing valve, gas flow adjustor, flow meter, micro bubble generator. The high pressure air flow generated by air compressor adjusted by pressure stabilizing valve and gas flow adjustor, can meet the required air pressure and air flow, injected into flotation column through micro bubble generator. The bubble is micro and even, large surface area.
